My first experience in the Dr Sketchy sessions. Pretty excellent.

OIC Portrait Day

Made some sketches at the OIC Portrait day on Saturday. It was great fun and I thought I got to practice my highlights and tried chalk pastels with ink on craft paper which had a pretty interesting effect.

The Cafe

A sketch I did in Barcelona while I was sitting in a tiny cafe sipping chocolate out of a bottle.

Light & Dark

I haven't been doodling much of late, but thought I share with you guys a doodle I did many moons ago. I kind of like the way it turned out. Was trying out painting on chinese calligraphy paper (the type you use to practise your letterings one.) Thought the effect turned out quite nice, so I did a couple more… will post it up more soon…

Moonchild

So far, this is one of my most enjoyable projects… The story is about a girl who has a secret penpal, a man who lives on the moon, and one fine day, she disappears for good.

lights! Camera! Action!

Did the production design for this film (telly movie), was shown on the trail HD channel on Starhub. So, guess not many people saw it, but I personally quite liked the film and how the visuals came out. Coz it was shot on HD, I emphasized on very strong colours for the character's rooms and environment. And really added alot of textures to the mis-en-scene. ;-)
